How reliable are Audi A3s?

I am thinking about purchasing a used A3 probably a 2005 or 2006 and I was curious how reliable the cars are, I heard they have some issues? How many miles would be considered a lot for this car?

audi is nothing more than a very expensive volkswagon, and it has many reliability issues. It is well known for expensive engine problems and transmission problems too, as with all car manufacturers, some cars were better than others, the problem is figuring
